Jeep Grand Cherokee Gets Price Cuts for 2025

Jeep has announced significant price reductions for its 2025 Grand Cherokee lineup. This unexpected move comes at a time when many automakers are increasing prices due to rising costs.

The most notable price drops are for the Grand Cherokee Overland and Summit trims. The Summit Reserve, with three-row seating, is now available for $66,835, making it the most expensive Grand Cherokee model outside of the hybrid lineup. The entry-level Laredo A remains unchanged at $38,290, while the standard Laredo and Laredo X have been reduced by $1,000. This means that the entire Laredo lineup now starts under $40,000, including the destination fee.

The Altitude trim has also seen a price reduction of $1,000, while the Limited trim has dropped by $3,000. These price cuts make the Grand Cherokee even more accessible to a wider range of buyers.

Jeep has not announced any significant changes to options or standard equipment for the 2025 Grand Cherokee. The 3.6-liter V-6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission remains the standard powertrain. The V-8 option, previously available for the three-row Cherokee L, has been discontinued.

The price reductions for the Grand Cherokee are attributed to Jeep's commitment to providing exceptional value to its customers. The automaker aims to make the Jeep ownership experience even more accessible by offering the most awarded SUV ever at a more affordable price point.

It's worth noting that the Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrid models have maintained their prices from the previous year. All trim levels, from the standard 4xe to the Summit Reserve 4xe, remain unchanged. These models are exclusively two-row SUVs with four-wheel drive.

With these price reductions, Jeep is positioning the Grand Cherokee as a more competitive option in the midsize SUV segment. The combination of unmatched off-road capability, a wider range of choices, and enhanced affordability makes the Grand Cherokee an attractive choice for SUV buyers.
