Jeep has unveiled a special edition Wrangler 4xe that pays homage to the iconic Willys MB, the legendary military vehicle that started it all. The Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 Special Edition draws inspiration from the Jeep ’41 Concept showcased at the 2022 Easter Safari.
This limited-edition model is based on the plug-in hybrid Wrangler 4xe and features a distinctive military olive paint job that recalls the original Willys MB. The 17-inch alloy wheels, finished in the same olive color, are wrapped in 33-inch all-terrain tires. Army-inspired decals in Drab Blue further enhance the vehicle's retro appeal.
The Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 offers a choice of three tops: a body-colored hardtop, an electrically sliding soft top, and a unique tan folding soft top exclusive to this special edition. Standard features include steel bumpers, a rear locker, tan cloth seats, a "41"-branded gear shift knob, and olive drab fabric accents on the dashboard.
The starting price for the Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 is $61,825, which is a premium of $4,495 over the regular Wrangler Willys 4xe. However, Jeep is currently offering significant discounts, including $6,500 in National Retail Consumer Cash and $500 in National Black Friday Bonus Cash, effectively reducing the price to $54,825.
While special editions often come with fixed configurations, the Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 offers some customization options. Buyers can choose from additional packages, such as the Safety Group, Technology Group, and Convenience Group. Mopar accessories, including side steps and a snorkel, are also available.
The 2023 Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 is now available to order, with deliveries expected to begin before the end of the year.
