Jetour Dasheng Launched In China

2018 saw the launch of the Jetour brand by Chery Automobile. The Jetour Dasheng, a brand-new sporty compact SUV for the Chinese auto market, has now been formally introduced by Jetour. The Dasheng is the first Jetour built under the new Kunlun Architecture of the company. This architecture accommodates a range of body types and power systems. Jetour Dasheng measures 4590mm long, 1900mm wide, 1685mm in height, and has 2720mm of wheelbase. Additionally, the car's sporty appearance is enhanced by its huge 20-inch alloy wheels.

The front has a frameless grille and split headlights in terms of design. The roof spoiler and rear lights have an unorthodox shape.

With a third-generation Snapdragon high-performance chip and support for AutoNavi, Tencent, and Baidu navigation maps, the interior has a central 15.6-inch control screen. Voice recognition, a wireless charging pad in the center console, an 8-inch full LCD screen, a HUD head-up display, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and Level2+ driving aid features like cruise control and lane change are all included in the interior.

Further characteristics include a sunroof and speakers on both sides of the front headrests.

Jetour Dasheng

Both a fuel-powered and PHEV plug-in hybrid version of the Jetour Dasheng is available. The 1.5T engine's maximum output is 156 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, while the 1.6T engine's maximum output is 197 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque.

The PHEV variant has a 1.5T engine and a 3-speed DHT gearbox, delivering a maximum of 326 horsepower, a maximum torque of 565 Nm, a 100-kilometer pure electric cruising range, and fuel efficiency of 1 liter per 100 kilometers.

Front-wheel drive is standard on the entry-level model, while four-wheel drive is standard on the top model. There were eight trims introduced, with prices ranging from $14,700 to $24,400.
