The L9, a huge SUV flagship, has received its first photographs and details from Li Auto. The Li Auto L9 is a high-tech vehicle with a plug-in hybrid motor that will make its premiere in April at the Beijing Auto Show.
A turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine serves as a range extender, while electric motors make up the plug-in hybrid powertrain. The engine produces 408 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in under six seconds. Despite being a PHEV, the Li Xiang L9 has a big 44.5 kWh battery that provides a 200-kilometer electric range. The combined range is 1,200 kilometers with a fully charged battery and a full tank of gasoline.
The Li Auto L9 has a length of 5,200 mm, a width of 1,998 mm, and a height of 1,800 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm.
Flush door handles, thinner full-width LEDs on both ends, updated bumpers with sleeker style, and the absence of a grille make the L9 look like an EV. There's also a sensor for the ADAS that's located on the roof, which isn't the most common way to mount sensors and radars.
There are three 15.7-inch touchscreens in the six-seater cabin. The digital instrument cluster is integrated into the steering wheel, and the huge head-up display is located above it. The heating and massage functions are available on all six seats.
A double sunroof, ambient lighting, a refrigerator, and a 2160W sound system with Dolby Atmos 4D technology and 21 speakers are among the cabin's additional features.
The Li Auto L9 has an array of sensors scanning the environment, including a roof-mounted LiDAR, a strain gauge sensor, five millimeter-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic radars, and twelve cameras, allowing it to drive autonomously at Level 4.
The Li Auto L9 is expected to cost between $70,740 and $78,600 in China. We don't know if the Chinese firm intends to export the SUV in the near future.
