On November 9, the Luxeed S7 will go on pre-sale in China. The first Luxeed model, created in collaboration between Chery and Huawei, will formally debut in late November. Luxeed stands for Luxury Speed in short.
Since Huawei is the industry leader in product definition, design, vehicle intelligence solutions, and sales, the Luxeed S7 will be available for purchase at Huawei retail locations. Based on Chery's E0X platform, the Luxeed S7 is positioned as a fully electric mid-to-large sedan coupe. Its dimensions are 4971 mm in length, 1963 mm in width, 1474 mm in height, and it has a wheelbase of 2950 mm.
Standard-range and long-range versions will be offered for both four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive. Huawei is the supplier of the electric motors, which have respective maximum outputs of 215 kW and 150 + 215 kW. CATL is the supplier of the ternary lithium + iron-manganese lithium or lithium iron phosphate batteries. In addition to supporting EVs and EREVs, the E0X platform has an 800V high-voltage platform that allows for a 150 km recharge in five minutes.
Additionally, Huawei's HarmonyOS 4 operating system and ADS 2.0 advanced driving system, which is backed by the side and roof cameras, will be installed on the Luxeed S7. With Brembo brake calipers, the Luxeed S7 features a dual-color bodywork and will come with a minimum of five different rim designs.
The interior spy shots show an extensive amount of leather covering the cockpit, along with features like a 40-inch 21:9 ratio light field screen, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and an LCD instrument panel up front. The center console also features two wireless charging pads and charging ports, and the HarmonyOS 4 supports multi-screen sharing. The co-pilot seat is anticipated to have a legrest.
