Manhart Elevates the BMW M240i to New Heights

The BMW M2 has undeniably captured the hearts of enthusiasts worldwide, leaving its lesser sibling, the M240i, somewhat overshadowed. However, Manhart has stepped in to rectify this imbalance by introducing a comprehensive tuning kit that transforms the M240i into a formidable rival to the M2.

The centerpiece of the Manhart MH2 450 is its enhanced turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. The stock power output of 369 horsepower has been significantly boosted to 434 horsepower, thanks to the MHtronik powerbox. While this figure falls short of the 2025 BMW M2's 473 horsepower, Manhart offers Stage 2 and Stage 3 upgrades to bridge the gap further. Additionally, a valve-controlled exhaust system with quad tailpipes provides an exhilarating sound experience.

To complement the increased power, Manhart offers various chassis upgrades. M240i owners can choose from H&R lowering springs or KW coilovers to enhance handling and lower the car's stance. While the brakes remain stock, Manhart provides individual upgrade options for those seeking even more stopping power.

The visual appeal of the Manhart MH2 450 is equally impressive. The pictured example features a striking motorsport-inspired livery, combining white, gray, and red decals on a black body. The oversized Manhart emblems and lettering ensure that this is not a standard M240i. The white Concave One 20-inch alloy wheels, combined with the lowering kit, fill the wheel arches perfectly.

To further enhance the M240i's sporty appearance, Manhart offers a range of carbon fiber add-ons. These include a front splitter, deeper side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a more pronounced spoiler. For those seeking an even more aggressive look, wide fender extensions are also available, although they are not fitted on the pictured example.

Inside the cabin, Manhart has added subtle touches to enhance the M240i's premium feel. These include Manhart emblems, a steering wheel wrapped in leather and Alcantara, and new carbon fiber paddles.

While the Manhart MH2 450 offers a substantial upgrade to the M240i, it comes at a price. The comprehensive tuning kit, including visual and performance enhancements, is available on Manhart's official website with detailed pricing. The most expensive options include the widebody kit, KW Variant 4 Coilovers, and the decal set.
