Under the hood, Manhart has significantly boosted the output of BMW's twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. Through modifications such as a carbon fiber intake, a stainless steel exhaust system with a 200-cell catalytic converter, and either the Manhart MHtronik powerbox or a factory ECU remap, the engine now produces an astonishing 718 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. While official acceleration figures have not been released, the MH2 700 II's substantial power and relatively lightweight chassis suggest it can accelerate with blistering speed.

Manhart offers even more extreme performance upgrades for the M2, but these are available on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, the tuner offers suspension upgrades, including lowering springs from KW or a full set of KW Variant 4 coilovers, to enhance the car's handling. While the brakes remain unchanged, buyers opting for such significant power increases may consider upgrading the braking system for optimal performance and safety.

The Manhart MH2 700 II is a testament to the tuning company's expertise in extracting maximum performance from BMW's M cars. It's a car that not only looks the part but also delivers the performance to match, making it a true contender in the high-performance sports car segment.
