Mazda CX-9 Pricing Information And Range Update

Author: |

The CX-9 lineup is being updated by Mazda for 2023, and customers may expect some sticker shock as the crossover now starts at $38,750. That represents a significant hike over the previous basic price of $35,280, and the decrease in the entry-level Sport trim is partly to blame.

A new Touring trim with LED lighting, privacy glass, and a power sunroof is standard on the 2023 CX-9. The crossover also has a motorized liftgate and gray metallic 18-inch alloy wheels.

Up front, there are heated and power-adjustable leather-wrapped seats inside the cabin. Other notable features include a wireless phone charger, a tri-zone automatic temperature control system, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Other standout features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a push-button ignition on the Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink. A three-month or 2GB Wi-Fi hotspot trial and three years of free Mazda Connected Services are also included for purchasers.

The CX-9 is equipped with a number of standard safety features, such as Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Smart Brake Support with Collision Warning, and Advanced Smart City Brake Support with Pedestrian Detection. They are accompanied by Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. The CX-9 is among the finest vehicles in the category based on this list.

The rest of the selection seems to be basically unchanged, however, pricing has changed in both directions which means some trims are more expensive and some other trim pricing has decreased. The 2023 CX-9 Touring Plus is now priced at $41,500, $160 less than it was previously. The starting price for the Grand Touring and Carbon Edition models has increased by $1,200 to $44,780. The top-of-the-line CX-9 Signature, which starts at $48,460 and represents a $1,250 increase, is the last model.
