Earlier this month, Skoda revealed the first teaser of its first electric crossover. This car with its success could be a big step forward for this auto-manufacturer, as Enyaq iV would be the best car that this company has ever offered to the market. September 1 is the due time to see this car in full in Prague. But for now, is there new photos of inside the cabin.
As it is obvious from the photos, this interior design really suits today's life. It is the reflect of “modern living environments” as the firm’s intention. There is no wonder in big displays on the dashboard to control the vehicles functions, but what is new is the other display which is provided just for the driver on the left side of the main screen.
Moreover, this car offers you a vast internal area. Norbert Weber, Head of Interior Design at the company said: “The Enyaq iV benefits from the MEB platform’s long wheelbase, which – in relation to the body dimensions – offers an exceptionally spacious interior”. Also, as an EV, it wasn’t necessary to have a central tunnel. So, the designed a flat floor and used that space inside the car. Norbert Weber explains: “We have used this conceptual feature to make the interior visually even airier and to create a feeling of even more space. This can be seen, for example, on the new dashboard, which is arranged over several levels.”
This is wonderful that for designing this car, this Czech company started to get away from its traditional trims, and introduced a new design, which gives the variety of materials and color interior choices. These trims consist of some sustainable materials like recycled polyester. They used such material with 40 per cent new wool to build up the seats.
The Enyaq iV is technologically the twin of the Volkswagen ID.4. Skoda Enyaq iV will have a dual-motor with the maximum output of 302 hp (22kW), to be the most powerful car which this firm has ever produced. But what is so obvious, this car won't be on sale early in 2021.
