Porsche has expanded its Taycan lineup for 2025, introducing two new models, the Taycan 4 and the Taycan GTS, bringing the total number of Taycan variants to 13. These additions provide a broader range of options for electric car enthusiasts, with the Taycan 4 positioned as the new entry-level model and the Taycan GTS catering to those seeking high performance. The Taycan GTS is available in both sedan and the versatile “Sports Turismo” shooting-brake style.
The Taycan 4 starts at $103,300 and is aimed at drivers interested in Porsche’s entry-level electric experience but with the added benefit of a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. Previously, a similar setup was exclusive to the Taycan Cross Turismo models, but now this configuration is available for the sedan body style as well. The Taycan 4's interior comes equipped with 18-way adjustable Adaptive Sports Seats Plus, a heated steering wheel, and a mix of Race-Tex and leather materials, creating a comfortable and stylish cabin. Standard features include rear axle steering, adaptive air suspension, and torque vectoring, enhancing both stability and driving precision.

In terms of power, the Taycan 4 provides up to 402 horsepower with the over-boost function, while it can reach up to 429 horsepower when using launch control, depending on the battery specification chosen. The model rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and is fitted with Matrix Design LED headlights. Porsche has also included its Traction Management (PTM) system and Adaptive Air Suspension with Active Suspension Management (PASM), delivering a smooth and controlled ride. While the additional motor enhances handling, it does not drastically alter acceleration, allowing the Taycan 4 to reach 0-96 km/h in 4.4 seconds—only 0.1 seconds faster than the rear-wheel-drive version.
For those desiring more power, the new Taycan GTS is available at $147,900, offering significantly more performance than the Taycan 4. This model boasts a powerful 690 horsepower when both launch control and overboost are engaged, providing an exhilarating drive. Standard features on the GTS include Sport Chrono, giving drivers access to a push-to-pass function that delivers an extra 93 horsepower for 10 seconds, making the GTS feel as responsive as a high-powered video game car. The new GTS can sprint from 0 to 96 km/h in just 3.1 seconds—0.4 seconds faster than the previous GTS model—and covers the quarter-mile in 11.1 seconds, shaving 0.7 seconds off its predecessor’s time.
Porsche has opened order books for these new Taycan models, with the first cars expected to reach dealerships by late Q1 of 2025. The Taycan 4 starts at $103,300, while the Taycan GTS is priced at $147,900 for the sedan and $149,800 for the Sport Turismo.
