Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE, have launched a campaign with strong successful as it members, to empower women all around the world with #DriveDefinesHer. It is about businesswomen in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait who share their stories.
Ms. Zainal is the Legal & Compliance Director for the MEA Region. She was born and raised in Dubai and she is the organisation’s first female Emirati in the Director team. She used to be a mentor Emirati students and graduates at the UAE Ministry of Youth Affairs’ Youth Hub as she shared her own experiences of her career.
Aileen Fahr is a German-born woman who is the second female Porsche employee. She joined the team in and Africa FZE in 2020 and holds a senior position in the sales department. The position she holds now used to be dominated by men before her. Her first career was in an emergency unit at a hospital.
Nayla Al Khaja the first female film director and producer in the UAE. Her project was accepted by Cannes Film Festival and is known as the first one by an Emirati. According to herself, she has sacrificed many things to get to where she is and her story is really inspirational to the next generation of female Arab filmmakers.
Ms. Almatrouk, is a Kuwaiti architect and owner of the urban design firm Studio Toggle. She joined the other heroes of campaign to inspire the young women. She won the trophy of Young Architect of the Year’ and is known as the true trailblazer in the world of architecture.
Last but not least, here is Adwa Al Dakheel. She is one of the youngest entrepreneurs in Saud, as she is only 28 years old. She has impressive experiences in her 13-year career to-date.
