Starting on June 19, 2024, Australian buyers can order the Mercedes-AMG G63 Elements Edition. This special edition comes in six versions, each with unique color combinations and equipment upgrades. These editions are being released before a significantly updated version of the G-Class, including the G63 AMG, which will arrive in Australia in late 2024.

Each Elements Edition package features 22-inch AMG five-spoke forged alloy wheels, available in a matte black five-spoke design or a cross-spoke style. The exterior is enhanced with AMG Night Package I and II black finishes on the grille and badging, as well as AMG carbon-fiber highlights. Four of the six versions have exclusive colors from Mercedes-Benz’s ‘Manufaktur’ range, paired with special leather interiors.

Lastly, the Tarmac version features night black mango paint with Bengal red and black leather or red-stitched black leather interiors.

The Elements Editions come with the Super Line interior as standard. This includes perforated Nappa leather seats with a diamond design, leather door panels and armrests, chrome window switches, and air vents. All versions have a black roof lining, a sliding glass sunroof, and a premium Burmester surround sound audio system. Additional features include AMG front seat backrest badges and the Active Multicontour Seat Package Plus, which adjusts seat support based on driving conditions.

The upcoming updated G-Class will still offer petrol engines when it arrives in Australian showrooms later this year. For the first time, it will also include an electric version, called the G580 with EQ Technology. The six Elements Edition themes are Water, Desert, Gravel, Forest, Snow, and Tarmac. They offer cosmetic and equipment upgrades while keeping the same 584 hp and 850Nm 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged petrol V8 engine.

The Elements Editions cost $28,000 above the standard G63’s starting price of $363,561, including GST and Luxury Car Tax (LCT). This follows the $50,000 Gold Package G63 AMG offered in Australia from March 2023.
