In its pursuit of heightened dynamism, the GTS incorporates a range of innovations, including optional titanium lug nuts, 35 percent lighter than standard wheel bolts, enhancing both agility and aesthetics. The choice between the standard 10-twin-spoke forged alloy wheels and the new 10-spoke "Turbine" lightweight wheels offers varied finishes, complemented by bespoke Pirelli P Zero tires. Marking its debut with the GTS is the captivating Lava Grey paint, accompanied by Softgrain Aniline leather seat upholstery featuring contrasting stitching and a double-piping pattern.

Underneath the GTS's sleek exterior lies a potent 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, boasting 626 horsepower—a 14 hp increase over its predecessor. Impressively, the GTS weighs in at a mere 1519 kg, nearly 9.97 kg lighter than the GT, promising an exhilarating driving experience. Accelerating to 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds and reaching 96 km/h in 3.1 seconds, the GTS subtly outpaces the GT. The carbon fiber monocoque chassis incorporates McLaren's Intelligent adaptive suspension, optimizing ride quality, while an optional front axle lift system, twice as fast as its predecessor, raises or lowers the nose in just 4.0 seconds. With an array of customizable options, including the distinctive Lava Grey paint and unique GTS Turbine forged alloy wheels, the GTS offers unparalleled personalization.

Highlighting its practicality, McLaren positions the GTS as the most pragmatic supercar on the market. Standard features include carbon ceramic brakes and adaptive dampers, ensuring optimal performance. The electrically operated glass tailgate with a soft-close function grants access to 14.8 cubic feet of cargo space, while an additional 5.3 cubic feet in the front trunk brings the total luggage capacity to 20.1 cubic feet. With a ground clearance ranging from 4.3 to 5.1 inches, depending on the lift system's activation, the GTS provides versatility for various driving scenarios.
