Polestar, the electric car maker, which is a brand joint of Volvo car group and Zhejiang Geely Holding, after the big positive reaction of its fans announced the new Polestar will go to be produced. This company ha a good reputation for produced the cars as close as the concept model. Mostly, the designs are so beautiful and attracts the todays market.
After this company received a good feedback for its Precept concept model, which was shown earlier this year, Thomas Ingenlath, the Polestar CEO, said:
Stunning. Spectacular. Cutting-edge. We’d like to see it on the road!’ – this is what the press wrote about Precept and the public said, ‘We want it’, so we decided to build it.
Already, this vehicle is under development in the UK and more than 130 people are working on it, but it seems that it will be produced in the china (actually is the home-land). This car can be the competitor of Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y. They tried hard to make the car much lighter by using the carbon composites and also some others sustainable materials.
The interior of Polestar Precept features a mix of sustainable materials including recycled PET bottles, reclaimed fishing nets and recycled cork vinyl. A flax-based composite, developed by external partner Bcomp Ltd., is featured in many interiors and some exterior parts. Polestar’s ambition is to bring much of this sustainability into production.
The first polestar has been offered in the 2017. It was a plug-in hybrid grand touring coupe. But after that car, the company focused on the just all-electric cars. What is it called? You are free to name it every thing you like, Ingenlath said.
Moreover, new polestar which could be the 4th one, would be debated in 2023 or later. Anyway, its not important at all. The important thing is the perseverance of the company to make it so green.
