Audi has added two top models to the Q8 SUV lineup. The first one is the refreshed RS Q8, and the second, which is even more powerful, is the RS Q8 Performance.

In terms of looks, both models come in three new metallic paint colors: Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red. The standard RS Q8 has glossy black details on the wing mirrors, front spoiler, window trims, and rear diffuser. On the other hand, the RS Q8 Performance features matte carbon details on the wing mirrors, front spoiler elements, and a matte gray rear diffuser.

Inside, customers can choose from three RS design packages in red, gray, and blue. These packages include an Alcantara-covered steering wheel, Dinamica microfiber on the center console, and perforated sports seats.

Both versions of the Audi RS Q8 are powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. For the base model, this engine produces 592 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque between 2,200 rpm and 4,500 rpm. This power allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h, which is electronically limited.

For those wanting even more power, the RS Q8 Performance is the better choice. This model has 632 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 280 km/h. Audi says this is the most powerful engine they have ever put in a production car. The RS Q8 Performance also has a special exhaust system that makes it sound even more aggressive.

Both RS Q8 models have an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and a permanent Quattro all-wheel-drive system. They also have a mechanical center differential and adaptive air suspension that can change the car's height by up to 90 mm.

To make sure these big SUVs handle well, Audi has equipped them with electromechanical active roll stabilization. This system reduces the car's body movements when driving. It uses two small electric motors between two parts of the stabilizer bar. On straight roads, the two parts are disconnected to reduce body movements. When the car turns, the motors twist the stabilizers in opposite directions to reduce body tilt. Additionally, all 2025 RS Q8 models come with all-wheel steering as standard.

For braking, the standard model has large 420 mm front discs with 10-piston calipers and 370 mm rear discs. The RS Q8 Performance has even larger 440 mm front and 370 mm rear carbon-ceramic discs. The Performance model also comes with special 23-inch light-alloy wheels, which are lighter than the standard 22-inch wheels.

Audi RS Q8 and the RS Q8 Performance models are now available in Europe. The RS Q8 starts at €141,900, while the RS Q8 Performance starts at €155,700.
