Nissan has introduced a rugged new variant of its Rogue SUV called the Rogue Rock Creek for 2025. This model joins the trend of urban SUVs and crossovers adopting off-road styles and special editions. The Rock Creek is designed to appeal to those looking for a more adventurous look and feel in their everyday vehicle.

The Rogue Rock Creek is powered by a 201-horsepower, 1.5-liter turbo engine paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). While this powertrain might not be the best choice for serious off-road adventures, it does come with standard all-wheel drive, which is a plus. One notable feature of the Rock Creek is the Off-Road view on the Around View Monitor system. This technology allows drivers to see the ground beneath the front of the car at speeds up to 19 km/h, making it easier to navigate tough terrain or crowded city streets.
Visually, the Rock Creek stands out from the regular Rogue SL. It features a distinctive gloss black front grille and Lava Red accents on the lower bumper. The rugged look is completed with a standard roof rack, gloss black door mirrors, and 17-inch satin black wheels fitted with 235/65R17 Falken Wild Peak all-terrain tires.
Inside, the Rock Creek continues the off-road theme with heated seats covered in water-repellant leatherette upholstery. This can be particularly useful for those who might get a little too enthusiastic about the Rogue's new capabilities. The seats also feature Lava Red stitching to match the exterior accents, and the dashboard is trimmed with piano black finishes.
Standard features of the Rock Creek include hill descent control, which helps maintain a steady speed on steep declines. Buyers can also opt for a premium package that adds several comfort and convenience features. This package includes a wireless charging pad, heated steering wheel, four-way power passenger seat, and a motion-activated power liftgate, among other upgrades.
However, one advanced feature that the Rock Creek does not include is Nissan’s ProPilot Assist 2.1 cruise control system. This system, which allows for hands-free driving on certain roads as long as the driver keeps their eyes on the road, is available for an additional cost on the SL and Platinum trims.
Pricing for the Rogue Rock Creek and other 2025 Rogue models will be announced closer to their release date.
