Hyundai, the Korean automaker, when in March showed off its luxury Genesis G80, it was so expected that that face could be used in the other Sedans of Genesis. Now by the official unveiling of G70 of 2022, the doubts became true. These two cars are so alike.
As Genesis is known for the luxury cars, for this new sedan considered an athletic look (as expected!). From the roof to the rear of the car has a shape of slide which improves the airflow direction on the body and as a result better efficiency.
What is more significant, are the design of lights. The two-tier headlights gave this car an even modern look. These headlights are called Quad Lamps. However, that is a signal like the G80 has. The same technology was used for the rear lights too. Genesis G70 has a dual exhaust with oval tips system too. The diffusers also could be seen which has the same color of the body.
Interior of the 2022 Genesis G70 has also impovements. This car has a drive-centric layout and now it has the most recent connectivity options. A new 10.25-inch infotainment system crowns the dashboard. that is by the Genesis UI design which supports the latest Over-the-air wireless updates, Valet mode, and CarPay. And of course, new wireless charging for bigger smartphones.
By the way, till now there are no information about the under the hood of this car, although there are some reports about no more manual gearbox in this car. as Genesis G70 is going to be debut in Korea next month, we should not wait for a long time to know about the powertrain. For the U.S. market, the debut happens next year.
