The Pagani 2023 Utopia is the Huayra's replacement. The supercar known as the C10's production version is the Pagani Utopia. Pagani talked to the owners of its current models before developing the Utopia. Its distinctive style, which the company claims took six years to perfect, immediately distinguishes it as a Pagani.
The Utopia is powered by a Mercedes-AMG 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 with a 60-degree angle between the cylinders. It generates 1,100 Nm of torque between 2,800 and 5,900 rpm and 852 horsepower at 6,000 rpm. According to the firm, the power plant is sufficiently clean to adhere to California's emission regulations.
The fastest shifting helical gearbox available, according to Pagani, is a seven-speed automatic manual transmission.
A real seven-speed manual with a clutch pedal is also available. An electro-mechanical differential is on the rear axle.
The Utopia has a more simplistic exterior than the Huayra and Zonda due to characteristics like the center rocket-booster exhausts, higher rear wings, and central boat-tail rear-deck design, which are carried over from the Huyara it replaces. However, the overall appearance is more subdued and incorporates novel design elements, such as the bridge spoiler that joins the two rear wings.
The front and rear subframes of the Utopia are made of Chromoly steel, and the monocoque is made of Pagani's Carbo-Titanium HP62 G2 and Carbo-Triax HP62 alloys.
The bodywork is made of what Pagani refers to as a new form of A-class carbon fiber, which has the same density as earlier iterations of carbon fiber but is 38 percent more stiff. The titanium quad exhaust, which has a ceramic coating, weighs slightly over 6 kg. The total weight is kept at 1,280 kg thanks to all of this lightweight stuff.
Double wishbones made of forged aluminum and shock absorbers with computerized control make up the suspension system for the Utopia. Carbon-ceramic brake discs from Brembo are used, and the front and rear calipers each have six pistons. The wheels have diameters of 21 inches up front and 22 inches at the back.
The Utopia avoids the contemporary tendency of having numerous digital displays inside.
The Utopia avoids the contemporary tendency of having numerous digital displays inside. Between the analog speedometer and tachometer, there is only one screen.
The Utopia coupe would originally be produced in 99 units, according to Pagani. The cost or the start date of deliveries are not being disclosed by the company.
