For a Saudi Arabian customer, PaxPower constructed the single-cab F-150 Raptor R that Ford will not. After being contacted by a client in Saudi Arabia, where off-road enthusiasts favor trucks with a single cab, the shop designed an F-150 Raptor with two doors.
The shop used as many Ford parts as they could to make it look like a real Raptor. This includes the box sides, which had to be lowered in order to fit on this considerably shorter truck, as well as the OEM hood, fenders, grille, trim, flares, and vents.
Compared to the factory four-door, the two-door Raptor is approximately three feet shorter. That puts its length somewhere between that of a Ford Bronco. Additionally, it is estimated to weigh 771 kg less than Ford's crew cab F-150 Raptor R.
The customer mentioned above is the intended recipient of the two examples shown here, who has also requested custom steel bumpers, four enormous six-inch LED lights, and Mustang-style stripes. In addition, they receive 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 All-Terrain tires mounted on 17-inch Method Racing Wheels.
To keep the driver in place, the truck's interior has original seat covers with extra bolstering. It also comes with the steering wheel from the Raptor, which has working paddle shifters and buttons.
A 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger installed on a 5.0-liter V8 engine provides power. Their combined output of 775 horsepower is about 70 more than the F-150 Raptor R's factory output. Although PaxPower says it will thoroughly test the truck in the upcoming months, given its massive power and all-wheel-drive setup, it should be able to reach 96 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.
The shortie Raptor has a lot of high-performance components underneath, including longer axles and steering links, internal bypass Fox Racing shocks, and longer control arms.
According to PaxPower, a third example has been constructed and will be used as a test vehicle and shop truck. Pricing has not yet been disclosed, but interested parties are welcome to get in touch to talk about build options if they know of any other prospective buyers interested in a two-door F-150 Raptor.
