Sami Khedira is the world champion footballer and ambassador of Porsche’s youth development program. He has had an interview recently, and has talked about topics like happiness, one of the Porsche vehicles and love.
Khedira was born in 1987, Stuttgart, to a German mother and a Tunisian father. He is 33 years old, has two passports and is a successful footballer. Since he resides in Italy, he plays for Juventus Turin. The biggest career leap of him was in 2014, when he won the Champion League with Real Madrid and then the Brazil FIFA World Cup, when he played with German national team.
Sami Khedira owns a 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet and he is in love with it. He says he feels like it’s the 911 moment every time he starts the car. He believes that the 911 is fascinating, fast and fun to drive as well as comfortable. He can do without a roofless Porsche 911, but he lives for the sports seats. His passion for Porsche has granted him the chance to be an ambassador for the Turbo for Talents youth development program.
He has also talked about himself and his interests. For example, simple things such as playing sports and “kicking a ball around” make him happy. He enjoys driving in German highways. He also said that he tries not to be distracted by the goalie while playing. His favorite movie is Gladiator and enjoys reading non-fiction books. He also opts for coffee rather than tea.
He is family oriented and he takes them with himself to a deserted island along with a toolbox and a football. The family and friends are his treasures. Khedira admires people who are determined and nothing can stop them from achieving their goals.
At the end when the interviewer asked him to give some advice, Khedira said:
Never give up and always follow your dreams
