In preparation for its release in Europe and, most likely, the US early next year, Hyundai has revealed the updated Tucson. Since 2020, the fourth-generation Hyundai Tucson has been available in the US. It appears that the small SUV will at last receive a makeover for the 2025 model year.

A more conventional dashboard and a simple three-spoke steering wheel are features of the updated interior. The latter modification makes it possible for the crossover to have a panoramic curved display, which includes a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

New switchgear and repositioned air vents are located further below. A new center console with two cup holders and a wireless smartphone charger joins them. There are now several physical controls and the shifter has been relocated to the steering column in other places.

Thankfully, more traditional controls are present in the redesigned switchgear that controls the climate than previously. In addition to traditional buttons, there are two rotary knobs for the AC that have built-in screens, as well as two more silver knobs for the volume controls and other settings. Additionally, the central air vents are slimmer than before, creating the appearance of a continuous vent spanning the entire dashboard.

In the upcoming weeks, more information about the Tucson will become available, but the Korean-spec model will be available in two new colors: Ultimate Red Metallic and Fine Green Matte. Additionally, the carmaker announced that a new tri-tone interior in gray, black, and green tones is anticipated.

Details about the powertrain are currently unknown, but prior reports have hinted at possible general enhancements.

However, Hyundai is only willing to make that information public at this time. Since the 2024 Tucson made its debut in the US market earlier, this update won't be available until the 2025MY.
