While the fourth-generation Fabia hasn't received a full-fledged hot hatch treatment like its Volkswagen Polo GTI counterpart, this special edition fills the void. The Fabia Rally2 is a tribute to José Antonio "Cohete" Suárez, a Spanish rally driver who has achieved significant success in the Spanish Rally Super Championship.
To honor Suárez, the Fabia Rally2 benefits from a power boost, making it the most potent version of the supermini to date. The turbocharged 1.5-liter TSI engine has been tuned by ABT Sportsline to deliver 188 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque, a significant increase over the standard model. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The Fabia Rally2 features a number of visual enhancements to distinguish it from the standard model. The striking Mamba Green paint job, usually reserved for Skoda's RS models, is a standout feature. Other sporty touches include a rear spoiler, matte black rear mudguards, and unique 17-inch OZ Racing wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires.
