2021 Subaru Crosstrek is getting some visual and technical update for the model year. While the small crossover unveiled last month, Subaru now announced its pricing and it turned out it will hit the market with a base price of under $23k.
While the 2021 model is just $100 expensive that its previous year model but it offers fresh look with new grille and new set of 17-inch alloy wheels.
Changes continues inside the cabin with an automatic air-conditioning system, power windows, 6.5-inch infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, keyless entry, faux carbon fiber trim, adaptive cruise control, lane centering system and Subaru EyeSight system.
Powers for Crosstrek comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder flat type engine with 152 hp and 196 NM of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or automatic CVT transmissions. 2021 Crosstrek features an standard all-wheel drive system on both manual and automatic models.
The base model Crosstrek with starting price of $23,295 features fog lights, colored side mirrors, leather wrapped steering wheel, two USB ports. Heated front seats and 6-speaker audio system.
The Sport trim which starts at $26,495 features a 2.5-liter engine pumping out 182 hp and 35 NM of torque. This model not only comes standard with a CVT transmission but also benefits a dual-function X-MODE system which allows the driver to choose between snow/dirt or snow-mud driving modes.
Sport trim is equipped with different fender flares, 17-inch sporty wheels and yellow metallic accents inside the cabin.
The top range model Crosstrek is called Limited and starts at $27,995. This model features LED lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, orange stitching inside, six-way powered driver seat, 8-inch screen for infotainment system, high-beam assist, automatic reverse braking system, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot detection system and lane change assist.
The 2021 Subaru Crosstrek will hit the dealerships by the end of this summer.
