The chassis and platform are totally new and have been developed around Acura's Precision Crafted Performance brand DNA. The wheelbase is 2.8 inches longer than the other models, while the body is 1.4 inches wider in the front and back.
Inside, we get a panoramic moonroof, a 12.3-inch Precision Cockpit™ all-digital instrument display and a 12.3-inch ultra-wide HD center display as the standard. The True Touchpad Interface, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Qi-compatible Wireless Charging and USB-C Charging and Amazon Alexa Built-In are among other standard features.
The 2022 Acura MDX is powered by a 3.5-liter direct-injected i-VTEC™ V6 engine, that produced 290 peak horsepower and 267 lb.-ft. peak torque. The engine is accompanied by a 10-speed automatic gearbox which comes as standard.
The all-new MDX, comes with some standard safety and driver assist systems such as AcuraWatch™, Traffic Jam Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Pedestrian Detection and a whole new Driver Attention Monitor.
