Toyota has unveiled two special versions for the Crown's current generation. The Toyota Crown's 15th generation debuted in 2018 and was upgraded in 2020. These two limited editions are only available in the United States.
The first is the RS “Limited II,” which is based on the RS but features deeper exterior tones and a pair of unique 18-inch matte black wheels with 225/45 R18 tires. The grille inserts and fog light surrounds are jet black, and the LED headlights and taillights are tinted.
Inside, you'll find black leather upholstery with contrasting stitching, ventilated seats, and gorgeous gun-metal accents on the dashboard and center console.
The S “Elegance Style III,” based on the S trim level, is the second special edition. It is differentiated by multispoke 18-inch chrome metallic wheels and brighter exterior and interior colors, which include brown leather upholstery and wood-style inlays.
Both models of Toyota Crown are equipped with the 2.5 Hybrid powertrain, which produces 222 horsepower and 221 Nm of torque. A CVT transmission sends power to either the rear or all four wheels.
The RS “Limited II” starts at 5,230,000 yen ($47,000) and the S “Elegance Style III” starts at 5,290,000 yen ($47,638) with rear-wheel drive, while the AWD variants cost 5,670,000 yen ($51,000) and 5,510,000 yen ($49,620), respectively.
