Tinkervan and Toyota Spain worked on the motorhome conversions. It's part of Toyota Se Adapta, a program that prepares and changes some of Toyota's cars before their formal introduction in Spain.
Toyota, on the other hand, isn't exactly a newcomer to the RV market. We've seen a few Toyota campers previously, both official and unofficial; the most of them were Toyota Tacoma conversions, with an official Chinook-inspired SEMA Show Tacoma construction apparently in the works.
This is the first time the carmaker has offered a comprehensive range of camper conversions in other regions of the world, notably in Spain.
Toyota will exhibit four camper conversions at the 2021 International Caravan Show, including three Proace models in various sizes and powertrains. The Proace Verso Camper minivan was the biggest, designed primarily for families that like outdoor activities and require a versatile and practical vehicle.
It includes a retractable canopy, as well as a rotating seat base, a 40-liter refrigerator, and a removable kitchen-sink module that can be used both indoors and outside.
The Proace Mini Camper was also offered by Toyota Spain.
The Toyota Proace Verso Electric with Self-Installing Kit and the Toyota Hilux Invincible with Housing Cell was also on display, although specifics on both vehicles were scant.
The Proace Mini Camper comes with a two-seater inside the bed, an indoor/outdoor table, a 10-liter shower, and an electric refrigerator, as well as the option of a pop-up roof tent.
In terms of price, the Proace Verso Camper starts at $45,800, based on current currency rates. The smaller Proace City Mini Camper, on the other hand, costs $31,800.
Hei. Spennende å se løsninger på ombygginger av Toyota til bobiler. Kan disse ombygde biler kjøpes i Norge, og hva vil i så fall prisen være?
