Toyota Revealed Luxury Trim Tundra Capstone

Author: |

Toyota has unveiled the Capstone, a new premium grade for the third-generation Tundra. The range-topper, the Capstone, is differentiated by chrome mirror caps and 22-inch chrome wheels, which are the biggest ever available on a Tundra. The massive 22-inch wheels, which are the largest set ever mounted by Toyota on a full-size pickup truck, are the most noticeable usage of chrome. There's plenty more chrome to discuss, but for now, let's focus on the power running boards and bed step. The latter deploys automatically and makes access to the 5.5-foot composite bed simple. A distinctive grille with chrome highlights and chrome "Tundra" writing on the tailgate completes the look.

inside, The black and white seats of the flagship Tundra have perforated leather upholstery, and the dashboard has genuine wood accents. Both rows are said to have heating and ventilation, and drivers will be seated behind a heated leather steering wheel, according to Toyota. Dark American Walnut has been used on the dashboard, doors, and center console of the Tundra Capstone. A panoramic sunroof, an illuminated Capstone logo on the dash, and acoustic side glass on the front doors are all available as trim options.

Toyota will add acoustic glass to the front doors to distinguish them distinct from other Tundra models, making the inside a little quieter.

That's only the beginning, as the truck also has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14-inch Audio Multimedia infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

A 10-inch color head-up display, a digital rearview mirror, a 12-speaker JBL premium audio system, and a Panoramic View Monitor give a variety of perspectives of the vehicle and its surroundings, among other tech features.

For a smoother ride, purchasers can choose for rear self-leveling air suspension.
