Jaguar this week announced the updated version of its XF sedan and station wagon for the 2021 model year. The facelifted Jaguar XF not only comes with more features but also there are some new engines and technical updates. Designwise the 2021 Jaguar XF can be realized by its revised front grille, new LED headlights, new LED daytime running lights and new front and rear bumpers.
Under the hood 2021 XF will drop the V6 engine and it will come to America with a new 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with two outputs. The first unit pumps out 246 hp and 365 nm of torque while the second one can produce 296 hp and 400 nm of torque. Both models come standard with 8-speed automatic transmission. The all-wheel drive system is standard on the later model while it is an extra-cost option for the first one.
According to the automaker, the 246 hp model can hit 100 kph in 6.5 seconds while the 296 hp version can reach 100 kph in 5.8 seconds.
For the European market, buyers can opt the mild-hybrid diesel unit with a 48-volt belt-integrated starter generator. The combined output is rated 201 hp and 430 nm of torque.
This model also comes standard with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive while the AWD system is available as an option.
Inside the cabin, the facelifted Jaguar XF benefits all-new 11.4-inch curved glass HD touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Pivi Pro system, a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, and a Head-Up Display system.
Pricing for the 201 Jaguar XF is yet to announce for the U.S market.
