The newly launched Voyah Dreamer seven-seater MPV represents a significant advancement in the world of multi-purpose vehicles, blending innovative technology, luxury, and practical features. The vehicle is offered in eight trims, covering both plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and full electric vehicle (EV) variants, with pricing ranging from 329,900 to 449,900 yuan (approximately $46,700 to $63,700). This range provides a variety of configurations to cater to different customer needs and preferences, marking the Voyah Dreamer as a highly customizable and versatile MPV.
The Voyah Dreamer’s latest iteration boasts substantial upgrades in its design and technology. Visually, the exterior is characterized by a bold front grille with 34 vertical chrome strips, a symbolic representation of China’s 34 provincial administrative regions. New paint options add a fresh, modern aesthetic, with single-color choices in green and gold, as well as a striking dual-color scheme in gray and gold. The updated rim style and dimensions (5315 mm in length, 1980 mm in width, and 1820 mm in height, with a 3200 mm wheelbase) ensure that the vehicle maintains a distinctive presence on the road, positioned as a medium-to-large MPV.
Inside, the MPV has been redesigned to create a more sophisticated and user-friendly space. The previously used triple-screen layout on the dashboard has been replaced by dual 15.4-inch central and co-pilot screens, along with a 10.25-inch floating LCD instrument panel and a 29-inch AR-HUD. These elements together enhance both the driving experience and passenger engagement. Furthermore, the Dreamer comes with new interior colors, including Cloud Gray and Wood Apricot, allowing customers to personalize the interior to suit their tastes.
Technology is a standout feature, with two systems available: the Huawei HarmonyOS 4.0 for the Qiankun versions and Voyah’s Xiaoyao Cockpit system for the Kunpeng versions. Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4.0, coupled with the Qualcomm 8295P chip, powers the Qiankun version, while the Kunpeng version is equipped with the Voyah Kunpeng ADS system. The advanced Qiankun version will include Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 3.0, a system supported by an impressive array of sensors, including 192-line lidar, three millimeter-wave radars, and 11 high-definition cameras, totaling 27 sensors on the vehicle. These features will make the Dreamer the world’s first MPV to come equipped with such high-level autonomous driving capabilities.
The interior of the Voyah Dreamer is built for comfort and luxury. The seven-seat layout is arranged in a 2+2+3 configuration, with both front and second-row seats offering heating, ventilation, and a 10-point massage function. The second-row “zero-gravity” seats feature a 4-way adjustable leg rest, a 6-inch armrest screen, and a foldable table, allowing passengers to fully relax. For entertainment, there is a 17.3-inch 3K ceiling-mounted entertainment screen.
The third row is also designed for comfort, supporting electric adjustments for both backrest angle and positioning, along with heating. The cargo capacity is 502 liters with all seats in place, expanding to a generous 2700 liters when the third-row seats are folded down. Other notable features include dual sunroofs, 22 high-fidelity speakers, ambient lighting, and an onboard fragrance system, contributing to a premium travel experience.
Voyah has introduced several enhancements in functionality, making the Dreamer a highly capable MPV. The Qiankun version includes a refrigerator in the center console with cooling and heating capabilities, adjustable from -6°C to 50°C. Additionally, there are two 50W wireless charging pads, and the vehicle’s navigation system provides lane-level guidance and a traffic light countdown feature.
Powering the Dreamer are two distinct systems, depending on the variant. The EV version features dual electric motors producing a combined 429 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque, with a 108.73 kWh battery pack that offers an impressive range of up to 650 kilometers (CLTC). On the other hand, the PHEV variant combines a 1.5T engine with dual electric motors, delivering a combined output of 416 horsepower and an equal 620 Nm of torque. This variant includes a 41.7 kWh lithium-based battery, providing a pure electric range of 235 kilometers, and with a full tank and charge, it can achieve a total range of 1,411 kilometers.
The Voyah Dreamer has generated significant interest, with over 21,462 pre-sale orders as of September 19, showcasing its appeal to consumers seeking a versatile, high-tech MPV. By integrating Huawei’s cutting-edge systems, offering luxurious and customizable interior options, and combining advanced technology with practicality, the Voyah Dreamer positions itself as a pioneering vehicle in the MPV market. It targets consumers who prioritize both comfort and technological innovation in a family-friendly package.
