Wuling is a Chinese automaker and it officially launched a new MPV called Victory for the Chinese market. Wuling Victory is a six-passenger three-row MPV that is available in the Chinese market with a base price of RMB 85,800 that is equal to US$12,810. The most expensive version is available for RMB 116,800 which is equal to US$17,440.
The Wuling Victory is a midsize MPV that measures 4,875 mm long, 1,880 mm side, 1,700 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,800 mm. Despite the average size, Victory offers plenty of room with 1,500 liters of trunk space with third-rows folded.
Under the hood, Wuling Victory has a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can produce 148 hp and is mated to a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
The standard equipment list includes soft leather and fabric upholstery, ergonomic seats on the first and second rows, double-layer soundproof glass, and extensive use of soundproofing materials.
It is interesting to know that the airconditioning system has an N95 level of protection. Other safety features are 6 airbags, Bosch’s 9.3 Electronic Stability Program (ESP), 4 exterior cameras, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
Wuling may start the European sale of its MPV from 2002.
