The G7 boasts a distinctive and modern aesthetic, characterized by the signature slim LED DRLs and a continuous light bar that have become synonymous with the Xpeng brand. This design element, also seen in the recently unveiled P7+, creates a visually striking and instantly recognizable front fascia. The main headlamps are elegantly positioned below these DRLs, while the traditional grille has been completely dispensed with, resulting in a clean and futuristic front end. Most of the front fascia is finished in a sleek body color, contrasting sharply with the gloss black lower portion, which incorporates functional air vents capable of opening and closing to optimize aerodynamics.

The side profile of the G7 exudes a sense of dynamic elegance. Its low-slung roofline and streamlined silhouette evoke a sense of speed and efficiency, drawing comparisons to the Kia EV6 with its captivating blend of sedan and crossover influences. The rear end maintains the same level of sophistication, featuring sharp LED taillights, a distinctive light bar, and a roof-mounted spoiler that enhances both aesthetics and aerodynamics. The black bumper completes the sporty and modern rear design.

Dimensional data reveals that the G7 measures 4,892 mm in length, 1,925 mm in width, and 1,655 mm in height, with a substantial 2,890 mm wheelbase. While marginally longer than the more upright G9, the G7 boasts a significantly lower roofline and a 108 mm shorter wheelbase, contributing to its more athletic and dynamic stance.

Xpeng has a reputation for delivering visually captivating EVs, and the G7 certainly lives up to this expectation. The brand will offer various trim levels, with weight estimates ranging from 2,085 kg to 2,160 kg. While specific powertrain details remain under wraps, it is confirmed that all variants will utilize CALB lithium iron phosphate batteries, known for their safety and longevity.
