Famous RM Sotheby auction offers a very special bargain this week and that is a McLaren-Mercedes F1 engine. This actual F1 engine is a 3.0-liter V10 with 938 hp unit used by McLaren team in their 2004 F1 car. On that date the car was driven by Kimi Raikkonen and David Coulthard. The naturally aspirated engine can rev more than 18,000 rpm but it is not operational right now as they have removed some key parts like pistons and conrods.

RM Sotheby announced a base price of 20,000 euros for the engine and estimated that it can sell the engine around 60,000 euros. As the engine is located in Germany the buyer must get it from Germany.
