Based on the F-250 Lariat 4x4, Shelby American unveiled the new F-250 Super Baja, a truck with an off-road suspension setup.
The Fox 2.0 dual steering stabilizer, new front radius arms, 20-inch wheels with 37-inch BFG KM3 tires, front coilovers, and Fox shocks are all included with the Ford Shelby F-250 Super Baja.
The vehicle also features a Shelby-branded grille, painted fender flares, and powerful bumpers. Power side steps, an extraction vent-equipped air induction hood, and auxiliary lights connect them. Stripes, a bed liner, and a chase rack with two spare tires complete the features.
Minimal interior modifications include two-tone leather seats with unique stitching and a badge with a unique number. Additionally, a ton of carbon fiber trim, embroidered floor mats, and billet pedals are available to buyers. The truck has the Lariat Ultimate package, which adds to its outstanding equipment.
Regarding technology, Ford's SYNC 4 infotainment system is standard on the 2023 Super Duty. This cutting-edge system features an easy-to-use UI, speech recognition, and smooth Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity. It also has several USB ports for charging gadgets, Bluetooth connectivity, and an 8-inch touchscreen display.
Other notable standard features include a rearview camera for ease handling, trailer sway control for towing stability, dual-zone automatic climate control for passenger comfort, and heavy-duty vinyl upholstery.
Another primary concern for the 2023 Super Duty is safety. Advanced safety technologies including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, and automated emergency braking are included. Together, these characteristics increase driver confidence and lessen the likelihood of traffic accidents.
A 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel engine provides power. Shelby did not specify the engine's output, but it typically generates 475 horsepower and 1,422 Nm of torque. Another option available to customers is a high-output model with 500 horsepower and 1,625 Nm of torque.
Up to 300 units will be developed, with prices beginning at $154,995. That isn't cheap, but it includes the base pickup.
