2021 Ford Expedition Two-Row Base Model Price Starts Under $50,000

The American company has decided to lower the price of one of its super popular full-size SUVs for the new year. Apparently the base model’s pricing starts under 50.000 bucks.

If you are interested in purchasing the 2021 Ford Expedition XL STX, you can pay a base MSRP of $49,995.The $1,695 destination fee and other charges are excluded of course.

We don’t why Ford is doing this. The company is either trying to advertise the SUV or wants to offer some more flexible choices to the buyer who are hopelessly in love with the Expedition family. We think it is just the matter of perspective. But there is something you need to know. We are sorry to say that the cheap Expedition XL STX is a two-row five-seater model.

Ford Expedition XL STX cabin

Looks

The 2021 Ford Expedition XL STX has the same glossy black five-bar grille. The 18-inch cast-aluminum wheels are Magnetic Metallic and are hugged by all-season tires. The body-color bumpers, door handle, black mirror caps, bodyside cladding and running board are among the new exterior features.

Inside the cabin, you don’t get to see the precious third row of seats, so that can be a wet blanket. Although fewer passenger can come abroad, it also means that you get plenty of cargo space, which some people prefer to the third row.

The lack of the extra seats is the only thing that has changed the model. The technological features are exactly the same as the other models.

Specs

Just like the other siblings, the new Expedition XL STX is equipped with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that is paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic gearbox. So, even the specifications are the same.
