Ford revealed the 2021 model of its popular pickup truck F150 with new design and techs.
The 2021 F-150 hasn't significantly changed design-wise but there are some changes through the headlights, taillights, fenders, and grille. Actually there are 11 different grilles available for the 2021 Ford F150. The new pickup also uses bigger wheels.
Ford mentioned that they improved the aerodynamic of the F-150 in order to have a better fuel economy.
Inside the cabin, there is a new instrument cluster with a 4-inch digital gauge with two analog gauges. While on the top trims there is a completely digital instrument cluster with 8 or 12.3-inch digital gauges. For the infotainment system, there is a 8-inch screen as standard and 12-inch screen on higher trims as XLT. the infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and SYNC AppLink.
Other options inside are Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0, Pre-Collision Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Pedestrian Detection system, auto high-beam headlights, dynamic hitch assist, and a rearview camera.
Under the hood, there is a 3.5-liter PowerBoost hybrid V6. the hybrid unit includes a 3.5-liter EcoBoost and 47 bhp electric motor integrated to the 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission.
The powertrain also includes 1.5 kWh battery and regenerative braking system . the towing capacity of the 2021 F-150 is about 5 tons and the car can travel up to 1000 km on a single tank.
