Nissan finally took cover from the 2021 Nissan Kicks for the States. While the previous Kicks were looking like a mainstream economy car the new one has a fresh design that is more upscale and dynamic.
For 2021, the front facia has been completely changed and there are new LED headlights, new air vents, and new LED foglights. At the rear, there is a new bumper and LED taillights. For the bodywork buyers not only can choose 3 new colors but also can get 3 new two-tone colors for their Kicks.
Changes inside the cabin contain a new 8.0-inch infotainment screen, 7.0-inch driver information screen, USB Type-C port, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, optional Bose sound system, and Intelligent Around View Monitor. Other new highlights are Intelligent Cruise Control and rear disc brakes.
In the U.S, the 2021 Nissan Kicks will be available with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine with 122 hp and 155 nm of torque. The engine is connected to an automatic CVT Xtronic transmission sending power to the front axle. As the automaker announced, the average fuel consumption for the new Nissan Kicks is 7.1 l/100km. Unlike the U.S., the international market will also get an electrified version.
Pricing for 2021 Nissan Kicks starts from $19,070 and it is going to be available in the showrooms from February.
