Pricing and specs for the 2021 Ram 1500 DT have been revealed, with prices starting at $114,950 plus on-road costs. After months of delays, the 2021 Ram 1500 DT pickup truck has now arrived in Australia. The new Ram DT pickup truck will be offered alongside the DS line, also known as the 'Classic' brand.

All Ram 1500 DT series models are powered by a 5.7-liter 'Hemi' petrol V8 engine with a mild-hybrid setup.

Ram claims that the current DT series is one of the world's most aerodynamic full-size pickups, with a drag coefficient of 0.357. The 1500 DT features active aerodynamics, such as grille shutters that open and close and control retractable side measures. Cylinder deactivation also contributes to lower fuel consumption.

The 'Active-Level' air suspension on the 2021 Ram 1500 DT enabling the car to lower the ride height by 15mm at highway speeds to increase aerodynamics. This suspension can lift the car up to 51mm to assist in clearing obstacles or lower the height by 51mm below the normal ride height to assist passengers in entering and exiting the car.

The mild-hybrid system makes use of a 48-volt battery pack that recovers energy when braking. The average output is 390 horsepower and 556 Nm of torque.

A panoramic sunroof, leather interior, heated and ventilated front seats, 60/40 reclining rear seats, and 150 liters of storage are all standard features.
