For the past few days, Infiniti has kept us in suspense (maybe deliberately). In the teasers, all we got to see from its new model also known as 2022 Infiniti QX55, was the rear end of it. They probably had no idea of how eager the world was to see this new beauty! Finally, yesterday was the judgement day and Infiniti QX55 was revealed. We also got to see the bigger picture and other parts of the car.
As you can see and according to the designers, the roofline of the new models pays tribute to an older model, called 2003 Infiniti FX. There are many curves and round edges playing an important part in the design of the body. In general, it might remind you of a hatchback. It will also be available in eight colors.
There are standard features such as LED headlights, a power-sliding sunroof, heater for the seats and....In general, it will be offered with three trims which will come with some different characteristics. They are called Luxe, Essential, and Sensory.
Inside the cabin, you can see an 8-inch dual-touchscreen along with a 7-inch monitor, especially designed for the controls. There are many standard features as well, like wireless Apple CarPlay, USB type-A ports and one Type-C port. To use Android Auto, you will need to plug your phone.
As Peyman Kargar, the Infiniti Chairman said, this model is designed to bring everyone back to the soul of their brand and push them forward at the same time.
Specifications
Infiniti QX55, is offered with a variable-compression 2.0-litre engine which is turbocharged and four-cylinder. A CVT transmission, sends the power to an AWD system. The whole engine system is supposed to make 268 horsepower and 380Nm of torque.
