Lexus has revealed the design of the 2022 RX 350 and RX 450H Black Line, which will be limited to 2,500 units in North America. The firm intends to split that amount between the two models, with 2,100 gas-powered cars and just 400 hybrid versions. As a result, the Black Line trim will be offered on both the Lexus RX 350 and the RX 450h, offering both models a minor aesthetic makeover with darker trim and other enhancements.
The Black Line package includes black 20-inch wheels and lug nuts, a black lower front bumper, black mirrors, and a black Lexus spindle grille. The Black Line vehicles are distinguished by a black nameplate in the bottom right corner of the rear power door.
Lexus has chosen black open-pore wood trim and black NuLuxe seats for the inside, however, the stitching is done with gray thread to give some contrast. This stitching can be found throughout the inside, including the center console, shift boot, steering wheel, and top instrument panel. Finally, there will be black floor mats, luggage mats, and key gloves.
Lexus is providing all of the features of its Premium Package, including its Memory System, on Black Line vehicles. The Premium Package, which includes power seats, mirrors, and a steering wheel with memory, is standard on all RX Black Line Special versions.
The RX 350 Black Line starts at $49,450, while the 450h AWD starts at $52,150, which is nearly $4,000 more than the entry-level pricing for both versions.
