The GAC GS3 compact SUV's new version was unveiled. Comparing the new Trumpchi GS3 to its 2017 predecessor, which debuted, it appears to be much more contemporary.
The normal and the R-Style versions of the GS3 were displayed by GAC. The style has a sporty flare and sharp surfaces that are intended to appeal to Generation Z. The big grille, which is flanked by obtrusive LED headlights in the Peugeot style, the floating roof, the flat door handles, and the sizable rear spoiler are notable features.
With its orange accents, aerodynamic bumper extensions, larger 19-inch alloy wheels, larger diffuser, and dual round tailpipes, the R-Style has a sportier appearance.
The new Trumpchi GS3 has dimensions of 4,410 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a 2,650 mm wheelbase.
A typical panoramic sunroof, 32-color ambient lighting, a "Crystal Shifter" for the automatic transmission, and a fairly basic layout for the digital cockpit are all features of the dashboard inside.
Five passengers can fit in the cabin, and there is 341-liters of luggage room at the back. The basic ADAS kit with ADiGO is safety equipment.
A 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine under the hood makes 174 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox is used exclusively to send power to the front wheels. According to GAC, the model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in its segment the fastest, finishing the race in 7.5 seconds before accelerating to a top speed of 190 km/h. The automaker recommends a fuel consumption rate of 6.18 lt/100 km. According to reports, a plug-in hybrid variation will appear later.
In the first quarter of 2023, China will start selling the new GAC GS3. The starting price is anticipated to be $12,294.
