The 2023 Nissan Altima has been shown, with a new front end and more advanced technology. S, SV, SR, SL, and SR VC-Turbo trim levels are offered.

The revised V-Motion grille, which is black-chrome treated in the SR grade, distinguishes the facelifted Altima from its predecessor. The headlights appear to have the same design as before, but with a new lamp configuration within. The rest of the vehicle's outward design remains relatively unchanged. The 17-inch wheels on the SV model get a fresh design. Redesigned 19-inch wheels are standard on the SR, SL, and SR VC-Turbo grades.

The new 12.3-inch infotainment display, which replaces the old 8-inch unit and includes wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto connectivity, Nissan's Door-to-Door Navigation, and NissanConnect Services, is the centerpiece of the interior upgrades.

A new finish for the instrument panel is one of the smaller changes in the cabin. Dual-stitch inner fabric has been added to the SR grade. Optional leather upholstery, an 8-way power adjustable driver's seat, a wireless phone charging pad, a WiFi hotspot, a nine-speaker Bose Premium Audio System, Active Noise Cancellation, and Amazon Alexa are among the interior highlights.

The Safety Shield 360 safety tech package is now standard on all grades of the 2023 Altima.

The engine options for the 2023 Altima remain unchanged. The turbocharged 2.0-liter variable compression engine produces 248 horsepower and 370 pound-feet of torque. A 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with 188 horsepower and 244 Nm for front-wheel-drive versions and 182 horsepower and 241 Nm for all-wheel-drive SV, SR, and SL trim levels is also available. The sedan uses a CVT gearbox regardless of engine or drivetrain.

Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, lane departure warning, radar-based blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and high beam assist are all included in the Safety Shield 360. In later grades, the more advanced ProPILOT Assist and the Intelligent Around View Monitor are included.

Independent suspension is standard on all Altima models, with the SR getting a sportier arrangement.

The new model will be available for purchase this fall. S, SV, SR, SL, and SR VC-Turbo trim levels are offered. In comparison to MY 2022, we anticipate a modest increase in pricing.
