Great Wall Motor (GWM) has initiated reservations for its highly anticipated 2025 Tank 300, requiring a modest deposit of $412. This latest iteration of the rugged SUV boasts significant enhancements, particularly in the realms of intelligent technology and powertrain configurations.

To provide context, the currently available Tank 300 models are equipped with a choice of powertrains, encompassing a 2.0T gasoline engine, a 2.0T gasoline engine coupled with a 48V mild hybrid system, a 3.0T V6 engine augmented by a 48V mild hybrid system, and a Hi4-T plug-in hybrid power system. The starting price for these models is $27,400.

The 2025 Tank 300 retains the brand's signature exterior design, characterized by its robust and utilitarian aesthetic. A new desert yellow body color has been introduced, expanding the vehicle's palette and offering consumers a fresh visual option. The front fascia continues to feature a wide bumper and distinctive round headlights, while traditional door handles, roof racks, and a rear-mounted spare tire maintain the vehicle's rugged appeal. Both the gasoline and diesel-powered variants come standard with a winch integrated into the front bumper, further enhancing their off-road capabilities. Electric side steps and a tow hook are offered as optional features. The 2025 Tank 300 measures 4750 mm in length, 1930 mm in width, and 1903 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2750 mm.

The Hi4-T plug-in hybrid variant, also powered by a 2.0T engine, offers a pure electric range of 105 km, enabling emission-free driving for short distances. The transmission is provided by China's first self-developed 9AT, ensuring smooth and efficient gear changes. The 2025 Tank 300 offers 10 driving modes, allowing drivers to tailor the vehicle's performance to various terrains and driving conditions. At this time, the remaining powertrain specifications are yet to be officially disclosed.
