BYD officially is going to launch the new Tang in the European market by 2021. The first model to go on sale in Europe is BYD Tang three-row SUV that will go on sale in the Norwegian market.
The new 2021 BYD Tang uses a new blade battery with 86.4 kWh of capacity. This new 7-seater SUV can travel up to 505 km and can hit 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds which is excellent for a 7-seater SUV.
In terms of size 2021, BYD Tang measures 4870 mm long, 1950 mm wide, and 1725 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2820 mm.
The 2021 BYD Tang is actually based on the BYD Dynasty concept car that introduced in 2017. Its modern design outside the cabin can attract many SUV buyers while inside the cabin not only it offers a proper space for 7 passengers but the quality of the cabin is also high-end and better than what we have seen from the Chinese automaker before.
Inside the cabin, BYD Tang benefits from leather seats and steering wheel, heated and cooled seats, two screens, a fully digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, and a rotatable on-board display.
The 2021 model year BYD Tang will go on sale in Norway by the end of summer with a base price of 599k Norwegian Kroner.
