Practicality has also been well-considered — there are 28 storage compartments throughout the cabin, including a handy space beneath the hollow center console. Rear passengers can enjoy a 15.6-inch 2.5K overhead display for entertainment. Comfort is further enhanced with seats that offer 24 massage modes, three-speed ventilation, and heating functions. The sound experience is powered by a premium 19-speaker audio system. Additional luxuries include a built-in 4.5-liter refrigerator capable of temperatures between 12°C and 42°C, as well as fold-out tray tables at the back, measuring 220 by 330 mm and supporting up to 10 kg. The Aeolus L8 also comes with an impressive suite of driver assistance features, boasting 28 Level 2 ADAS capabilities.

Under the hood, the Dongfeng Mach Electric Hybrid powertrain delivers a combined 355 hp, pairing a 1.5T gasoline engine with an electric motor and a 30.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. Official CLTC figures list all-electric ranges of 125 km and 185 km, while CATARC’s real-world testing recorded an even better 248 km on electric power alone. Fuel consumption is rated at just 2.4 L/100 km in hybrid mode. Fast charging capability allows the battery to go from 20% to 80% in only 18 minutes, thanks to its 3C charging support.
