A clean and shiny car is what we all like to see every day. Of course, the easiest way to have a clean car is to take it to a carwash but it is not something we can do it regularly. Sometimes there is no carwash nearby and sometimes you don't have enough time to take your car to a carwash. In some places, the carwash might not be cheap as well.
One way is to wash your car at home. Washing your car at home sounds easy but if you don't do it in a proper way the result might not be satisfying. Follow this article to find out what is the best way to wash your car.
1. A pre-rinse is the initial stage in washing your car and removes any dirt that may be on the surface. Using a water hose or high-pressure car wash hose, clear the exterior of your car of as much mud and debris as you can. This will prevent scratches and swirls from being caused by the dirt on your car's surface being crushed into the paint job.
2. Utilize two buckets: one for the cleaning solution and the other for the freshwater. While the other bucket serves as a rinse bucket to remove the dirt and debris that the wash mitt picked up from the car's exterior, one bucket is used exclusively to hold the car-wash solution and water for soaping up the wash mitt.
Dish soap and hand soap should not be used because they are not intended for use on automotive paint. To help keep clean water at the top and dirt at the bottom of each bucket, grit shields can be placed in their bottoms. Fill one of the buckets with ordinary water, then insert the first Grit Guard insert into it.
3. Make sure to use a car-wash soap rather than dish soap or any type of detergent that could remove the wax from your car's paint.
4. Use a foam cannon or hand frother to first foam the whole outside of the car. As a result, the dirt will become wet and come away from the surface. Begin washing at the top of the car and work your way down, rinsing the mitt or sponge in plain water and wiping it on the Grit Guard after each pass. After washing the mitt in the pail of water, re-dip it in the car-wash soap solution and work your way down the car. The dirty sections of the car are usually found near the bottom. If you work from bottom to top, you will be transferring dirt and filth to the surface of your car. One recommendation is to avoid moving the sponge or mitt in circles and instead wash in lines.
Make sure to thoroughly rinse the soap off the vehicle with the pressure washer. It's best to avoid washing it in the sun because it dries faster and causes blemishes on the paint.
5. Drying the car is the next step after washing it. To thoroughly dry the surface of the car, use microfiber cloths. Place the microfiber cloth on the spot, then dab the water away. Black automobiles, which are more likely than other colors to reveal minor hairline scratches, benefit significantly from this procedure.
It's time to drain the concealed water from the vehicle after the majority of the water has been dried off. To blow out all of the concealed water, use a hand-held blower but keep that in mind that it is not necessary if you don't have access to the blower.
6. Remember to wash your car. Waxing not only makes the automobile shine more, but it also shields the paint. Verify the wax frequency guidelines in the owner's manual before using vax. We advise using high-quality wax. use the recommended microfiber applicator to apply it, of course.
