BMW has introduced First Editions of its most powerful SUVs BMW X5 M Competition and BMW X6 M Competition.
The two First Edition models benefit BMW Individual Frozen Dark Silver and BMW Individual Frozen Marina Bay Blue colors for the exterior while there are matte Jet Black painted M light alloy wheels available in a 21-inch size front and 22-inch rear.
BMW X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition First Edition models also come standard with side mirror carbon fiber caps, carbon fiber rear spoiler, and M carbon fiber engine compartments.
Inside the cabin, both cars have BMW Individual Merino fuel leather trim, black Alcantara inserts in the seat, contrast stitching in Sakhir Orange, Alcantara headliner, and carbon fiber interior accents and ‘First Edition 1/250’ lettering.
BMW X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition First Edition models has no technical difference compared to the regular X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition so under the hood there is a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 617 hp and 750 nm of torque. Power transferred to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. Both cars can hit 100kph in 3.8 seconds and hit the electronically limited top speed of 250 kph. The top speed limiter will be removed for Buyers who order BMW M Driver Package so they can touch 290 kph.
BMW hasn't announced pricing for the X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition First Edition models but the production of both models is limited to 250 examples.
