Citroen Ami EV Is Promoted To The Police Department

Police department has the duty of keeping the society safe. So, around the world we see they usually use big and muscular cars to insinuate their power. However, that doesn’t mean there are no chance for cute cars to be promoted. Citroen Ami EV is one petite vehicle, which has recently joined the Greece police army.

Chalki is one Greek island which is just 10-square miles. Using big SUVs and high-speed vehicles here has no scene. So, the local authorities decided to add Citroen Ami to the Police department fleet. In fact, this small island for now needs just four Ami’s. Two of them joins police force and the other two are the officers of Coast Guard. Along with these little ones, a pair of E-C4 crossover and one E-Spacetourer van will join the Municipality of Chalki fleet as well, and an E-Jumpy will be delivered to the Energy Community of Chalki. A whole team of electric vehicles.

Vincent Cobee, CEO of Citroen, impressed his deepest satisfaction of this project. he also added:

"This collaboration is completely in keeping with the spirit of Citroen, an innovative and daring brand, closely connected with people in their daily lives and their mobility."

Citroen Ami, is a two-door EV uses a 5.5-kilowatt-hour battery pack. It travels for 70 km with a full charge. Also, the top speed of it is also 45 km/h. Citroen designed the Ami almost exclusively for jaunts around town. The crossover of the fleet is also electric. E-C4 has a 50-kilowatt-hour battery pack with 163 hp (120 kilowatts) and a top speed of 93 miles per hour (150 km/h).

In some weeks these electric cars will reach to its destination to be the part of the city nature.
