On November 8, the Yuanhang Y6, a medium-to-large all-electric sedan manufactured by Yuanhang Auto, a luxury electric vehicle brand owned by Dayun Group, will formally come off the assembly line in China.
The Y6, which was developed in collaboration with Bosch and Huawei, is positioned as a luxury executive sedan. Its electric BHD platform measures 5270 mm in height, 2000 mm in width, and 1500 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3130 mm. Notable design features include a fastback style, frameless doors, hidden door handles, and a panoramic sunroof.
Inside, the Yuanhang Y6 has a 17.38-inch central control screen that houses the AliOS intelligent cockpit operating system created by Alibaba, a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel, and a two-spoke flat-bottom multifunctional steering wheel. An audio system with 27 speakers produces the sound.
Concurrently, the advanced driving assistance system of the Yuanhang Y6 facilitates features such as full-speed range adaptive cruise control, adaptive light control, lane centering, and traffic jam assistance.
Furthermore, the second-row seats recline at a 145° angle, and the middle seat folds down to form a two-seat layout by converting into an armrest area with two cup holders and a touch screen.
With ternary lithium battery packs, the powertrain is offered with single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive.
An electric motor powering the rear-wheel drive system produces 250 kW of torque and 400 Nm of power.
There are two different battery pack capacities: 88.42 kWh and 100 kWh, which correspond to a cruising range of 720 km and 810 km. 5.9 seconds is the official acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h.
The 500 kW and 745 Nm or 520 kW and 850 Nm dual electric motors found in the four-wheel drive model.
There are three different battery packs with capacities of 88.42 kWh, 100 kWh, and 150 kWh available. The three cruising ranges are 620, 720, and 1,020 kilometers. The official acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.2 seconds.
205 km/h is the maximum speed. Furthermore, the carmaker states that 800V fast charging is supported, with a 10-minute charge increasing the cruising range by 300 km.
There are currently five models available in the pre-sale price range of 45,100 to 73,000 USD.
