A real environmentally friendly vehicle is the one which gains its energy from sustainable sources. The Chinese Energy company SPI has recently unveiled a pickup as a full-electric car and also with a solar panel roof. It is named EdisonFuture EF1-T.
EF1-T is actually the pickup version of what this company has in mind from electric cars. Before SPI introduced EF1-V as the van of its lineup. EF1-T is a four-door pickup with an open bed in the back. The van version in contrary, uses the rear doors to access cargo area. The ceiling of the cargo is however covered.
EF1-T as an electric pickup has sufficient power. This product is prepared in various motor configuration. The single-motor version, Standardhas the output of 470 hp, as the Premium version which is the two-motor engine can hit 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The last model, Super, has three motors and the out put of 816 hp. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
By the way, EF1-V as the electric van has two choices. The single-motor configuration with 400 hp of output and 690 hp for the dual-motor configuration. Both of the pickup and van versions of the EdisonFuture has the ability to be recharged via the solar panels on the roof.
Company claims, using solar mosaic technology is not just a beautiful look, also it recharges the batteries. So that a continues drive becomes possible. By the way, company didn’t announce any information about the battery size and capacity. At the mid-November, this firm introduces its pickup at LA Auto Show, then we can judge vehicle with more fresh up information.
