Kia has modified many design elements of The 2022 Cerato. It now features headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, and the rear end has been refreshed with new taillights and a new bumper.
LED DRL, LED positioning lamps, LED brake light on the hatch, 16-inch steel wheels, an 8-inch infotainment screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 4.2-inch instrument display, Leading Vehicle Departure, Lane Follow Assist, Driver Attention Alert, Rear Occupant Alert, and High Beam Assist are among the Cerato S's key features. As standard, there is a 6-speaker audio system.
The Cerato Sport has 17-inch alloys, a bigger 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with DAB digital radio, connected Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto reverse wipers, sport patterned cloth seats, and illuminated vanity mirrors. Larger rear brakes, an electronic parking brake, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, Blind Sport Collision Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Warning, and an electrochromic rear-view mirror were among the updates received by the Cerato Sport +.
The 2022 Kia Cerato S, Sport, and Sport + versions are powered by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine producing 150 horsepower and 192 Newton-meters of torque.
The Cerato GT's main engine is a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 201 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque. The GT also includes a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, a multi-link rear suspension, bigger brakes, 18-inch wheels, a sharper external appearance, and a JBL sound system with eight speakers.
Prices range from AU$25,990 for the Cerato S to AU$27,990 (US$21,709) for the Sport and AU$32,690 (US$25,354) for the Sport +, with the GT costing AU$36,990 (US$28,689). The Hatch and Sedan versions are priced the same.
